will learn in warm, crystal clear water, train on-site in our 130 m2 centre and change
your life forever.
Atlantic Divers are well suited for you to continue your education as our programs are
personalised and safe. You will learn and work along side our Divemasters,
Instructors, Master Instructors and visit other dive centres in the canary islands to
learn what is right and what is wrong.
All our students and clients have always been very satisfied with the type of training we
give them and the personal service they receive. Remember we are just normal people.
This sounds like a dream for many people but we can make your dream come true.
We run courses every week from Scuba Diver upwards and all of our students come
back. You will dive with our clients and students and learn.
Your requirements as a Divemaster
You will teach and certify skin divers
Accompany student divers during training dives
Supervise all activities in and out of the water
Conduct discover local diving, snorkeling and scuba reviews
Guide students during tour portions of dives 2,3 and 4
Assist the instructor in and out of the water
You should have all of your own personal gear prior to starting this course but if not you
can borrow ours.
Home study is also required as the program is extensive. In the P.A.D.I.
Divemaster Manual the following independent studies must be made. The role
and characteristics of the divemaster. Supervising general diving activities.
Assisting with student divers. dive theory introduction. Decompression theory
and the RDP. Divemaster conducted programs. Risk Management. The business of
diving and your diving career. The encyclopaedia of recreational diving and
the diving knowledge workbook and also informative materials.
Presentations will also be made involving, course introduction, supervising activities for
certified divers, assisting with student divers in training, dive theory introduction,
physics of diving, physiology of diving, dive equipment, decompression theory and
divemaster conducted programs.
This portion of the course will help you as you will find yourself tutoring other students
in subjects that you are comfortable in.
Water skills and stamina modules must be completed, practical application and exams.

Pre-requiset requirements
You must be certified as an Advanced and Rescue diver, OR SIMILAR
QUALIFICATIONS FROM ANOTHER ORGANIZATION. Proof of Medic
training within the past 3 years, 20 logged dives are needed to start the program and have
proof of 60 dives is a certification requirement. You must be at least 18 years of
age prior to starting the training.
